Going Private
I've been thinking about going to a private blog lately. I've heard some pretty strange things and I just watched a special on it on the news. People are taking pictures off of people's blogs and creating their own families...scary! Well...today I checked in on a friend and her baby's pics have been posted on some strange website. I don't know all the details, but I'm going to attempt to keep my family safe...so please send me your e-mail addresses over the next week so I don't lose track of any of you and can add you to my private blog... threegales@hotmail.com

Jacqui, you already have my email but my google email is onlymehere.smith@gmail.com and I think it logs me in with that. I never check that for email though so it's pretty much unused, it just allows me to blog. Not only did they use Brianna's pictures but they had very personal information that has never been put on anyone's blog. Since she is an identity theft victim and the information was so personal and also included the hospital where Savannah was born, etc. she's going private. I had been mulling the idea over before Brianna even started to blog. I typed a report long ago and for privacy reasons of the patient cannot share much. It did not happen locally but far, far away (remember I type reports all over the country). It was dictated that her assailant found her through a blog. It was an extremely brutal attack upon a female. The doctor may have had it wrong and she may have been found through My Space, Facebook, or other means but her assailant knew enough about her to track her down and attack her. I had warned Brianna not to put her full name on her blog and to never post the town in which she lived, etc. Anyway other things cropped up along the way and I finally decided with Brianna's experience to go private. I just listed all of that here as a warning to others. You do know that if you google your phone number it pops up with an address to your house, right? I had my phone number removed when they first started doing this for safety reasons. Anyway, I too was surprised you posted what James did as I can see safety issues there for him. Glad you're going private too for your own safety. If you want to invite me there's the email. If you want to be on mine then let me know next week when I moderate the comments with everyone's email and I'll add you. If you don't then I understand that too. Sorry the comment was so long but it's a scary world and we all have to be careful how much of our personal stuff we put out there. :)
